Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Potential Minds ("we", "us") for your use of NeuroCapture. By creating an account you accept them. Please read them alongside the privacy policy and the AI usage policy.

1. What NeuroCapture is

NeuroCapture is a personal productivity tool. You speak a thought, we transcribe it and suggest tasks, steps, deadlines and reminders to help you act on it.

NeuroCapture is not a medical device. It does not provide medical, psychological, diagnostic, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. It must never be relied on in an emergency. If you are at risk of harm, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use NeuroCapture. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

3. Your content stays yours

Recordings, transcripts, tasks and notes you create remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, process it through our AI providers to generate suggestions, and show it back to you.

We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models. You can export or permanently delete everything at any time from Privacy and data.

4. AI suggestions

Priorities, deadlines, quadrants and suggested steps are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or poorly judged. Always check anything that matters before acting on it. You remain responsible for your own decisions, commitments and deadlines.

Audio recordings are deleted automatically about 24 hours after processing unless you choose otherwise.

5. Reminders and nudges

Reminders and nudges depend on your device, its settings and network availability. We cannot guarantee a reminder will be delivered on time, or at all, so please do not rely on NeuroCapture alone for anything safety-critical, medical or legally time-sensitive.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone;

• capture other people's personal or confidential information without their consent;

• attempt to access other users' accounts or data;

• interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or scrape the service, or resell access to it;

• upload malicious code or content you have no right to share.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may update, change or withdraw features, and we may need to interrupt the service for maintenance. Where a change is significant we will let you know in the app.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Privacy and data; this permanently removes your content and cannot be undone. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed deadlines, lost opportunities, lost data or indirect losses arising from your use of the app.

If you use NeuroCapture as a consumer, you keep all of your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

11. Subscriptions

NeuroCapture is available through a monthly or annual subscription. Before access begins, you must choose a plan and authorise the future charge through the store or payment provider. The exact price, currency, billing period and any applicable taxes are shown before you confirm.

Eligible new and existing users receive one 7-day free trial after choosing a plan and authorising payment. Trial eligibility is determined by the relevant store or payment provider and is generally limited to one trial per person or store account. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends, the trial converts automatically to the selected paid subscription at the price shown when you authorised it.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand. Payment is charged through the store or payment provider used to subscribe, including Apple App Store or Google Play where applicable.

You can cancel or manage your subscription in the account settings of the store or payment provider used to subscribe. Deleting the app or deleting your NeuroCapture account does not itself cancel a subscription; cancel it with the provider first to stop future charges.

Refund requests are handled by the store or payment provider under its applicable terms and consumer-law obligations.

If your trial or subscription ends, your existing captures, recordings, events, tasks and other content remain available to view, export or delete. You cannot create new voice or typed captures, or use subscription features, until access is restored by an active subscription.

Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app.
